How long have you been photographing for?

I have been a happy snapper for over 9 years. My first camera was a Canon (FILM - not digital) eek! 

What areas do you cover, how far would you be willing to travel?

I am based in Broughty Ferry, Dundee. Although I can travel to most countries in the world, I am jet setting to Portugal and Tuscany for weddings this year, so the sky is the limit! Additional costs may be required for out of Scotland weddings. 

How would you describe your approach to wedding photography?

I would describe my approach to wedding photography as personable and friendly, I always strive for my images to look as natural as possible. I like to have fun with my couples and keep a low pressure environment. This doesn't mean I can't get right into where I need to be! 

Most of the couple photographs will be you guys interacting with each other, which you are obviously already really good at, with some slight shaping and guiding occasionally... 

I don’t feel comfortable posing/having my photos taken, do you have any advice?

It’s completely normal to be nervous about having your photos taken! But you shouldn’t worry, your images can be as formal or informal as you like. I am well versed in all things wedding and are super friend, and most of all I can totally relate, I am an awkward smiler in photos! 
 

We will also have your engagement session, which is a relaxed photo session in a location of your choice*, so that you can have a wee practice of being awesome in front of the camera.

How many photos will I receive?

Depending on your chosen collection, you will receive a minimum of 350 fully edited images on a beautiful hand engraved natural wood USB. minimum is just a base number for most weddings it's usually approx 500 images. 

Can I get my own photos printed?

Yes. Alternatively you can return to myself to purchase prints at a discount rate from your gallery. I can only guarantee quality from 'Siobhan Diamond Photography' but you are free to take your USB and print until your hearts content.

How long will you store our photographs?

A good while. We keep your photos backed up safely for 1 year, then after that year we reduce to single storage back up, then at some point your images will be removed to allow others the space. I suspect by this time you'll have your images back up, and copied over in a few places. 

Can friends and family view and buy images?

Yes, all of your images will be put onto your own secure personal online gallery. You will receive a password for access and using this your guests will be able to view, share and download images as well as place their own orders for prints. Orders from the gallery are usually fulfilled within 3-4 days.

Will we get to meet you before the day?

Of course! As soon as you enquire we will allow you to book in a date for you to have your wedding consultation, here we will discuss everything you want and need for your day and you can ask any questions you might have so that you can make absolutely sure I are the perfect fit for your wedding.

Nearer to the time of your big day I will also arrange a engagement photo session and meet-up. This is a chance to get to know each other even better and take some fun relaxed photos!

How long will it take for us to get our photos back?

The average timescale is 3-5 weeks from the day of your wedding to receive your online gallery. For your album this is also dependent on the client selection process, when you will be choosing the photos for your album.

What happens if we need to cancel?

In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel, we do reserve the right to keep your deposit as it is non-refundable. However we acknowledge that every situation is different and this would be at our discretion. In the event of a postponement, your retainer may be applied against a future date. 

Can I customise my package?

Yes! Our collection covers a lot of everything but add on's are totally available. 

Do you do a digital only package?

No. Each collection does come with a digital copy of all your photographs but we do not offer digital only. I really like every client to come away with a physical memento of their day, and I do feel that our work is best enjoyed in print!

Are you insured?

Yes I am full insured with public liability and professional indemnity for up to £2,000,000
